The beginnings!

Hi Everyone -

My little sister, Tina made me start this blog to help the family stay up to date on what Dereck is up to in Arizona. I am making no guarantees, but I am not so tech savvy as she is!! But here it goes.

Dereck had great support at his "unfarewell" - more fondly known as his pre-missionay party! He had a ton of friends and family who came and listened to his talk at church on fasting. He made his mom cry of course, but he also made his little sister cry, and embarrased the heck out of his little brother, Davis by calling him a stud and encouraged him to flirt with all the girls.
